Cookie policy
Effective 23 September 2026. Last updated 28 October 2026.
The short version
The site works without any cookies. Two kinds are optional, analytics and advertising, and both stay off unless you switch them on in the cookie banner or in Cookie settings at the foot of every page. The one other company that can set cookies is Calendly, and only once you open the booking window to book a call.
What we store in your browser
One thing, and only sometimes. If you arrive here from a link that carries
campaign tags in the address (the utm_ parameters an ad or
an email adds), the site keeps those tags in session
storage under the name sb:utm, so that if you go on to
book a call we can see which campaign the booking came from. If your address
carries no tags, nothing is written at all.
If you start typing your name or email address into the enquiry form, those
two fields are kept in session storage too, under sb:lead, so that
if you then book a call the booking window is filled in for you rather than
asking again.
The campaign entry holds the tags and nothing else: no identifier, nothing about you, nothing that could be joined to anything else. Session storage is not a cookie. It is never sent to our server, it cannot be read by any other site, and the browser discards it the moment you close the tab.
Once you answer the cookie banner, your answer is kept in your browser’s
local storage under sb:consent, so we do not ask
on every page. It holds which of the two optional kinds you allowed and the
date you chose, nothing else. It stays until you change it or clear your
browser’s site data, and like session storage it is never sent to us.
The opening animation, the bullet that draws the line under the navigation, used to leave a flag here so it would not replay. It no longer does. It plays on every fresh arrival and every refresh, and stores nothing.
Getting in touch
The “Talk to us”, “Connect with us”, “See if you qualify” and “Book a call” buttons open a Calendly booking window; the next section says what that involves. Our email address, wherever it appears as a link, opens your own email program, and nothing on this site is involved after the click. The enquiry form at the foot of each page posts what you type to our CRM; the privacy policy covers what happens to it there.
What other companies see
The site loads three JavaScript libraries from two public content delivery networks, cdnjs (operated by Cloudflare) and jsDelivr. Requesting a file from either of them discloses your IP address and user agent, as any web request does. We do not set cookies through them and receive nothing back. Their own policies govern what they do with that request.
Calendly, which runs call booking, is a separate company. Nothing is requested from it when a page loads. The first time you hover or focus a booking button, the site fetches Calendly’s script and stylesheet, which discloses your IP address and user agent to Calendly the way any web request does. Once the booking window is open, it is Calendly’s page inside ours: Calendly sets its own cookies and collects whatever you type into the booking, under its own privacy notice. If you never open the window, Calendly sets nothing.
Optional cookies, and your choice
The banner at the foot of the screen gives you three buttons of equal weight: Accept all, Reject all and Customize, which opens a panel where you can switch each kind on or off. Nothing optional is switched on until you switch it on, and nothing optional loads until you have chosen.
Analytics counts visits and shows which pages get read and
where visitors came from, through Google Analytics, loaded by Google Tag
Manager. It sets cookies whose names begin with _ga. We see totals
and trends, not names.
Advertising tells the ad platforms we run campaigns on that a visit came from one of their ads, so we can see which ads work. Those platforms may connect it with what they already know about you. If you are in the United States, switching this off is how you opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as that opt-out and keep Advertising off whatever you click.
At the time of writing neither kind is live yet: the banner records your choice, and the tags it controls are not switched on. When they are, they will load only for visitors who said yes, and this page will name each one before it does.
Changing your mind
Open Cookie settings at the foot of any page and change the switches, or choose Reject all. If you take back a yes, the site clears the Google Analytics cookies it can reach and reloads the page without the tags. The privacy policy sets out everything else we collect.
